Diadora, the Italian sports brand operated by Highlight Brands (CEO Lee Joon-kwon), has launched two 'Vera Active' performance down pieces for the 2026 winter season, designed specifically for outdoor sports such as midwinter running and tennis. Aimed at consumers who keep exercising outdoors in cold weather, the range consists of a padded jacket and a vest.
'Vera Active' builds on Vera Piuma, Diadora's best-selling ultralight outerwear line, with enhanced performance features. Starting from the original line's lightweight feel, the new pieces offer greater warmth and mobility for winter sports. Diadora said it focused on the needs of people who keep training through the cold. Recognizing that bulky layers can restrict movement, the brand concentrated development on reducing weight while supporting freedom of movement and helping maintain body temperature.

Founded in Italy in 1948, Diadora offers a lineup ranging from performance products for specialist sports such as tennis and running to lifestyle products. The new release likewise focuses on winter outdoor activity in running and tennis, the sports in which the brand has its roots.
Key to the jackets' lightness, warmth and breathability is CLO, a functional insulation from the UK. CLO features micro air holes on its surface that promote air circulation and expel the heat and moisture generated during exercise, keeping the wearer comfortable. At the same time, the insulation's thermal structure is designed to trap air warmed by body heat, reducing heat loss and retaining warmth. By releasing built-up heat during exercise while protecting body temperature, the construction keeps a moderate level of loft without making the wearer feel sluggish, according to the company.
The design is also tailored to sport. A subtle sheen that shifts with the angle of the light is paired with a lightweight fabric hand to create a futuristic, sporty look. Sizes range from XS to 2XL.

The hero piece, the 'Vera Active CLO Padded Jacket,' features a raglan design that flows naturally from shoulder to sleeve and a relaxed silhouette for easy movement of the arms and shoulders. A paneled pattern on the front, inspired by Diadora's Frieze logo, adds a dynamic feel, while a large logo on the back serves as an accent. Zip pockets provide convenient storage, and an integrated hood and elasticated hem keep out cold wind while ensuring a secure fit. It comes in three colors: yellow, silver and brown.
The 'Vera Active CLO Padded Vest' uses a woven fabric made from tightly woven lightweight nylon yarn to reduce bulk and weight. Generous armholes make it easy to layer over innerwear of varying thickness, and it can be combined with other garments to adjust warmth according to workout intensity and temperature. It comes in two colors: silver and brown.

Alongside 'Vera Active,' Diadora is also introducing a range of other winter outerwear, including the 'Sheer Lightweight Down Jacket,' the 'Sheer Winter Down Jacket' and the women's 'Bright Down.'
Diadora currently operates the Diadora 1948 Seoul Dosan flagship store and is present in major retail channels including Lotte Department Store, Shinsegae Department Store and Starfield. 'Vera Active' and the other new winter outerwear pieces are available at Diadora stores nationwide and on the brand's official online store.
