Chanel is opening its 'Chanel Holiday Pop-Up' for the first time in two years. The house announced that it will run a holiday-season pop-up in Seoul's Seongsu-dong from Nov. 21 to Dec. 31, 2026. The starting point for the pop-up is St. Moritz in the Alps, the destination where Gabrielle Chanel spent her winters. By taking the founder's winter retreat as the theme of the space, the concept seeks to tie a seasonal event to the brand's own story.
The space is designed to recreate a chalet nestled in the snowy mountains of St. Moritz and a wintry landscape under falling snow. Here, visitors can experience the world of Chanel fragrance. Rather than simply putting products on display, the visitor flow appears to have been designed so that guests encounter the fragrances against the backdrop of a winter scene.
Installations reflecting Chanel's iconic codes and the many moods of winter are placed throughout the pop-up, completing the holiday atmosphere. A range of Chanel holiday items released as limited editions will also be presented. Chanel said the pop-up will add to the joy of the holiday season through a variety of experiences and special services.
The 'Chanel Holiday Pop-Up' runs from Nov. 21 to Dec. 31, 2026, at 9 Seongsui-ro 7ga-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul. To visit, guests can follow the Chanel Beauty KakaoTalk channel and make an advance reservation; walk-ins without a reservation are also welcome.
