MUSINSA STANDARD, the modern basic casualwear brand operated by Musinsa, will hold a Winter 26 season preview in Seoul's Seongsu-dong, headlined by its global collaboration collections. The event takes place on Saturday, the 3rd, and will present the brand's Winter 2026 new arrivals in one place under the theme "NEW STANDARD IN SEOUL."
According to Musinsa, the event is designed to showcase the direction of Musinsa Standard as a brand that started in Seoul and is growing into a global fashion label, as well as its further expanded product and design capabilities. The centerpiece of the preview is the large-scale unveiling of collections developed with global brands across distinct fields, from fashion to sports and entertainment.
Most notably, collaborations with Italian sportswear designer Alessandro Pungetti and Copenhagen-based fashion brand HELIOT EMIL will be revealed for the first time at the event.
The Alessandro Pungetti collaboration focuses on reinterpreting the military and sportswear archive the designer has long explored as practical everyday clothing. Titled the "Aviator" collection and inspired by military flight suits and life vests, it comprises nine styles in total, including a sheer down jacket, a monster down parka and a survival vest. By translating designs rooted in a functional archive into winter outerwear that can be worn day to day, the collection can be seen as an effort to broaden the product range of a brand that has built its business on basic casualwear.
HELIOT EMIL presents the "Shadow as System" collection, inspired by the contrast created by light and shadow in the city. The collection emphasizes an experimental mood, adding the brand's signature design elements, such as asymmetric construction, fluid volumes and metal hardware, to winter pieces including long coats, down jackets, bombers and curved pants.
The preview will also feature vintage-inspired daily wear created with Champion, the American sportswear brand with more than 100 years of heritage, as well as collaboration products with global entertainment service Netflix.
On site, visitors can try on not only the collections being unveiled for the first time but also a range of new products that have yet to be released. On the second floor of the venue, a separate zone dedicated to Musinsa Standard's signature line, CITY LEISURE, has been set up, allowing visitors to compare key winter products such as light down and heavy down pieces by color and style.
"This event is an extension of 'Seoul Standard,' which we have been rolling out since August, and by adding collaborations with global designers and brands, we aimed to present the new standard Musinsa Standard pursues in a more multidimensional way," a Musinsa Standard representative said. "Going forward, while preserving Musinsa Standard's unique identity, we will continue to try new things and build differentiated competitiveness as a global fashion brand growing from its base in Seoul."
