Kolon Sport and JiyongKim Reunite for Second Collaboration, Reimagining Sherpa Dress in 10-Piece Winter Collection

Kolon Sport, the outdoor brand operated by Kolon Industries' FnC division (Kolon FnC), is releasing its second collaboration collection with JiyongKim, the label of designer Jiyong Kim, for the Fall/Winter 2026 season, and is opening a pop-up store to mark the launch.

The two brands are teaming up again following their first collaboration last fall/winter season. According to the company, the collection combines the technical expertise of Kolon Sport, which has built its line on outdoor apparel designed to coexist with the natural environment, with the design sensibility of JiyongKim, which draws inspiration from natural elements such as sunlight, the passage of time, wind and warmth.

The collection was conceived around the traditional clothing of Sherpas in the Himalayan region and outdoor styles that have evolved to adapt to changing natural environments. At its core, it layers JiyongKim's signature three-dimensional cutting techniques and silhouettes onto Kolon Sport's functional construction.

The collaboration comprises 10 pieces of winter apparel and accessories, including goose-down jackets and fleeces. Built on three-dimensional structures that lend themselves to layering, the pieces feature adjustable cords, detachable elements and straps, allowing wearers to flexibly adapt their shape to different situations.

Particular attention was paid to the treatment of materials. Garment washing brings out the natural surface texture of the fabrics, while functional outdoor details such as seam sealing and pockets have been reinterpreted as stylish design elements.

The launch pop-up store is located in the third-floor gallery space of 10 Corso Como Seoul's Cheongdam store. Running through Oct. 15, the pop-up allows visitors to view and explore the collaboration pieces on display in person.

"This collaboration shows the point where the outdoor expertise the brand has accumulated meets JiyongKim's original design," a Kolon Sport official said. "Customers will be able to experience a new outdoor line that delivers on both functionality and design."
