Global athleisure company XEXYMIX (CEO Lee Soo-yeon) announced on the 2nd that it has received the Culture and Sports Promotion Award at the 46th Eunpyeong Grand Award in recognition of its contribution to revitalizing community sports and developing local sports culture. The award ceremony was held on the 1st.
The Eunpyeong Grand Award recognizes individuals and organizations that have dedicated themselves to the development of the local community and district administration. XEXYMIX was selected as the recipient of the Culture and Sports Promotion Award in recognition of its ongoing support activities aimed at revitalizing community sports and developing local sports culture in Eunpyeong-gu.
The award has its roots in an agreement XEXYMIX signed with the local government. In 2023, XEXYMIX entered into a joint business agreement with Eunpyeong-gu and the Eunpyeong-gu Sports Council to promote community sports and improve sports welfare, and has continued to cooperate with the local community since. Based on this agreement, the company said it has sponsored various sporting events and sports associations in Eunpyeong-gu, helping to broaden the base of community sports.
The support has included community sports events in which local residents participate directly. According to the company, XEXYMIX supported participation in the Seoul Citizens' Sports Festival and also contributed to resident-participation events such as the Eunpyeong-gu Mayor's Cup Park Golf Tournament.
XEXYMIX said that, leveraging its identity as an athleisure specialist, it goes beyond simple sponsorship, focusing its support on community sports settings so that local residents can enjoy sports closer to home. The company's policy is to continue contributing to the spread of a healthy sports culture and the revitalization of local sports through these efforts.
This is not the company's first award. XEXYMIX received the Seoul Mayor's Award at the 2026 Seoul Social Welfare Convention held on September 10, and less than a month later added the Culture and Sports Promotion Award at the 46th Eunpyeong Grand Award. The company said the back-to-back awards add meaning to the social contribution activities it has consistently carried out.
According to photos distributed by the company, Eunpyeong-gu Mayor Kim Mi-kyung and Lee Kwang-ho, head of XEXYMIX's Compliance Management Office, posed for a commemorative photo after the award at the ceremony on the 1st, joined by staff from Eunpyeong-gu's Community Sports Division.
“We are grateful that our ongoing efforts to revitalize community sports have been recognized with such a meaningful award,” a XEXYMIX official said. “We will continue to carry out a variety of activities so that local residents can exercise healthily and enjoy sports, and we will strive to grow together with the local community.”
XEXYMIX plans to continue activities that connect it with the local community through sports. The company said it will maintain its support for local sporting events and the revitalization of community sports, while also expanding social contribution activities that make a tangible difference to the local community.
