LF's forte_forte Unveils SS27 'Voyage' Collection, Doubles Down on Accessories as It Deepens Ties With Korean Shoppers

forte_forte, the Italian luxury designer brand operated by lifestyle company LF, presented its Spring/Summer 2027 (SS27) collection at its showroom in Italy during Milan Fashion Week. Themed 'Voyage,' the season reinterprets the cultures, colors and crafts encountered while traveling through the lens of modern femininity.

At the SS27 edition of Milan Fashion Week, held from Sept. 22 to 28, a clear shift away from minimalism emerged, with designers embracing color, texture, delicate embellishment and feminine silhouettes to once again celebrate 'the joy of dressing up.' Amid this emphasis on decoration—refined tailoring layered with draping, embroidery and sheer fabrics, alongside vivid color—forte_forte set itself apart by leading with its signature sensual palette and handcrafted details.

The collection draws on the landscapes, colors and artisanal elements encountered while journeying through distinct cultures, including Egypt, Morocco and Samarkand, filtered through forte_forte's romantic sensibility. Through it, the brand underscored its commitment to craftsmanship. The collection charts the journey in three chapters: 'The Departure,' 'The Exploration' and 'The Treasure.' Color, materials and details evolve from one chapter to the next, with increasingly vivid hues and richer fabrics and embellishments toward the finale completing the collection's narrative arc.

This season, the brand also expanded its accessories collection, which conveys its craftsmanship in a more immediate way. A wide range of artisanal techniques was applied, from jewelry inspired by seashells and ginkgo leaves to bags and shoes made with macramé, crochet and weaving. forte_forte intends to develop its bags and shoes into iconic items, including the brand's signature woven ankle boot 'my penelope' and the 'my pepita' crossbody bag, defined by its hand-worked crochet mesh. Over the next three years, the brand plans to expand its accessories lineup with greater refinement, conveying its distinctive lifestyle and aesthetic beyond ready-to-wear.

Founded in 2002 by siblings Giada Forte and Paolo Forte, natives of Italy's Veneto region, forte_forte has built a distinctive aesthetic rooted in craftsmanship, handcrafted detailing and premium materials. The brand currently operates globally through some 550 wholesale partners and 11 standalone stores. Ahead of its 25th anniversary next year, it is sharpening its unique identity while broadening its global reach.

According to LF, since introducing forte_forte to Korea through its premium multi-brand store 'Raum' about a decade ago, the company has grown the brand's sales more than tenfold while expanding its partnership with the headquarters. The collaboration widened with an official domestic distribution agreement in 2023 and the opening of the first standalone store in 2024. More recently, the partnership has advanced to the point where LF proactively feeds Korean customer responses and market trends into the planning of the brand's global collections.

“As the fashion market sees a renewed movement toward expressing individuality through color, materials and handcrafted details, there is growing common ground with the brand aesthetic forte_forte has cultivated over many years,” an LF official said. “Starting with the SS27 collection, we plan to more actively introduce forte_forte's distinctive use of color and craftsmanship to Korean customers.”
